What you can edit

Avatar — tap to change your profile photo. Pull from your camera roll or take a new one. Name — your display name. Required, can’t be empty. Username — change the unique handle friends use to find you. You can change it once every 30 days, and your previous username remains reserved for you for 30 days after a change. Bio — up to 160 characters. A character counter shows how much room you have left. It turns orange near the limit and red if you exceed it. Save is disabled when over the limit. Featured badge — pick one of your earned badges to feature on your profile. Tap to open the badge picker and choose any badge you’ve unlocked. Sex — Male / Female / Non-binary / Prefer not to say. Birthday — date picker (uses UTC to avoid time-zone surprises). Your age is calculated automatically. Age — if your birthday isn’t set, you can enter your age directly. Phone number — add, change, or remove. Phone numbers are masked (asterisks) in the UI. Long-press the phone row to get a quick remove option without opening the editor.

What you can see but not change

Email — the email associated with your account, shown as read-only. Sign-in method — whether you signed up with Apple or Google. Shown as read-only.

Saving changes

The Save button in the top-right is only active when something’s actually changed. Required fields (like name) must be valid. Tap Save to confirm.

Account actions

Log out is not inside Personal Details. Return to the main Settings screen and scroll to the Account section at the bottom. A confirmation appears before you are signed out. The first-run setup cannot currently be replayed as a single flow. Revisit data sources, notifications, privacy, and Coach Mo preferences from their individual settings instead. Delete Account is also in the Account section of the main Settings screen. Deleting an account is permanent and cannot be undone; see Your data and privacy first.

Where this info shows up

  • Your display name and avatar appear on leaderboards and in the activity feed (controllable via Privacy settings)
  • Your username lets friends find you
  • Your featured badge shows on your profile under your name
  • Sex, birthday, and age help personalize defaults (like your starting Move goal) and aren’t shown to other users
  • Phone is only used to help friends find you via contacts, if you opt in
