Active days
A day counts as an active day when you reach 7,500 steps or 30 exercise minutes. Each active day earns coins.Monthly bonuses
Reach 10 active days in a calendar month for a bonus. Reach 20 active days in the same month for a second, bigger bonus on top. The Rewards tab shows how many more active days you need for the next bonus.Pro earns double
On any day you’re on Pro, including a Pro free trial, your active-day coins and monthly bonuses are doubled. The plan that counts is the one you had that day. Changing plans later doesn’t change coins you already earned. Pro does not double the welcome gift or referral coins.Welcome gift
You get 50 Movecoins the first time you turn Movecoins on. It’s a one-time gift.Invite friends
You get 1,000 Movecoins when a friend you invite creates a new MoveTogether account with your invite link and is then active for 3 days.- Movecoins must be on before the referral completes. A referral that completed earlier doesn’t earn coins.
- Your friend must be a real, separate person who never had a MoveTogether account.
- There’s a monthly limit on referral coins. The Rewards tab shows how many you have left this month.
- Your friend doesn’t earn Movecoins for being invited.
What counts
- Activity your iPhone shares with MoveTogether through Apple Health, including data from wearables that sync to Apple Health.
- Only activity from the day you turn Movecoins on. Earlier days never earn.
What doesn’t count
- Steps and workouts you type in by hand in Apple Health.
- Data from an app or method meant to create activity that didn’t happen.
- Days with unrealistic numbers, which are treated as data errors.
- Watching ads, ratings, reviews, turning on notifications, or how you rank against other people.
When coins show up
Activity can arrive late from your phone or tracker, so your balance may update after the day ends. If your activity data is later changed or removed, your balance can be corrected.Numbers look wrong? Check your activity first in Fitness data not syncing, then see Movecoins problems.
