Movecoins is off until you turn it on. Turning it on lets MoveTogether use your daily steps and exercise minutes from Apple Health to award coins.

Open Movecoins

Tap the Rewards tab, or tap your coin balance at the top of Home.

Read the screen

It explains what Movecoins uses and links to the Movecoins program terms and the Privacy policy.

Tap Turn on Movecoins

Tapping the button is how you agree to the program terms and to MoveTogether using your activity data as the privacy policy describes. Tap Not now to skip.
You may see “We’ll update how your activity syncs first.” That means your Apple Health sync needs a quick update before Movecoins can start. Follow the screen, then turn Movecoins on. You can also turn it on from Invite & Earn: tap Turn on Movecoins on the Movecoins card.

What happens next

  • Coins count from today. Activity from before the day you turn it on never earns coins.
  • Welcome gift. The first time you turn Movecoins on, you get 50 Movecoins. You only get it once, even if you turn Movecoins off and on again.

Turn it off

  1. Open Movecoins.
  2. Tap … at the top right.
  3. Tap Turn off Movecoins, then Turn off.
What happens:
  • You keep the coins you already have. They still expire on the normal schedule.
  • You stop earning, starting with the day you turn it off.
  • MoveTogether stops using your activity for Movecoins.
  • You can’t cash out while Movecoins is off.

Turn it back on

Turn it on again the same way. Earning starts from that day. Days while Movecoins was off never earn coins.
