What counts

Completed daily and weekly challenges contribute to the collection. Progress partway through a challenge is not another completion: a challenge must reach its completion requirement. The month is determined from the completion date in your local time zone. A weekly challenge that starts near the end of one month and finishes in the next counts in the month when it is completed. Example: a challenge begins in August but completes in September. Its completion belongs to September’s collection. Simply opening a new month does not carry an unfinished challenge over as an earned completion.

Earning the badge

Reach the month’s displayed completion target to qualify for its collectible. The badge is not reserved for first place, and you do not need Pro to earn it. Check your badges after the completed progress has synced. The progress fraction shows how close you are to the badge requirement. The leaderboard answers a different question: how your completion count compares with other people. You can earn the collectible without leading the board.

Shared ranks

People with equal completion counts share a rank tier. The next distinct count receives the next tier: for example, two people with 12 completions can both be tier 1, followed by someone with 11 completions at tier 2. This is different from the tie-breaking used for a Move League. A monthly rank number is not a count of how many individual people are ahead of you.

Ranking privacy

Your public leaderboard setting affects whether you appear, including in your own view of the public board. Hiding your public ranking does not stop your personal completion progress or badge eligibility. Review Settings → Privacy Settings if your progress is present but your public row is missing. Blocking and other visibility settings can also affect which rows you see.

If a completion is missing

Refresh Challenges after activity syncs. Check that the challenge is complete, not merely close to its target, and check its completion month. If the count still looks wrong, give Marco the challenge name and completion date.
