Each month has its own challenge badge, such as October Grinder or November Regular. You earn it by finishing 30 of the challenges you pick under Choose a challenge in that month. It’s free on every plan, on iPhone and Android.

Find your progress

  1. Open Home and tap the Challenges heading.
  2. Scroll to the card with this month’s badge. Its top line shows the month, such as OCTOBER.
  3. Read your count against the target, such as 12/30.
The card tells you how far you have to go:
  • Finish 30 challenges this month to earn the badge. when you haven’t finished any yet.
  • 18 more to earn this month’s badge. while you’re working on it.
  • You’ve earned this month’s badge. once you have it.
If the person leading your group has finished more challenges than you, the card also shows Leader and their count.

What counts

  • Every challenge you pick under Choose a challenge and finish counts as one, whatever its points.
  • A challenge counts in its own month. Challenges can’t carry over: one that’s unfinished when your month ends expires and doesn’t count.
  • Months follow your own time zone.
  • The weekly challenges under All week don’t count. See Weekly challenges.
Example: It’s October 20 and you’ve finished 21 challenges. You can hold 3 at once and pick 4 new ones a day, so 9 more is reachable before October ends if you keep picking and finishing.

Earning the badge

The badge arrives as soon as your count reaches 30 and the Challenges screen updates. It isn’t reserved for first place, and you don’t need Pro. Find it in Profile > Badges > Challenges. See How badges work.

Badge count and rank are different

  • Finished challenges earn the badge. The 12/30 count is about how many you’ve finished.
  • Points decide your rank. The #4 on the badge card is your rank by points, the same as in Your points.
On the leaderboard, each row shows that person’s points and how many challenges they’ve finished. See Pick and complete challenges for how ranking and leaderboard privacy work.

Something not right?

  • The count didn’t go up. Check that the challenge is finished, not just close. Then pull to refresh the Challenges screen after your tracker syncs.
  • A challenge from last month is missing. Unfinished challenges expire when your month ends.
  • You’re missing from the leaderboard. Check Settings > Privacy Settings > Show on public leaderboards. Your count and badge still work when it’s off.
If the count still looks wrong, send the challenge name and the date you finished it through the in-app support chat.
