Reading the leaderboard

Every competition has a leaderboard that ranks all participants by their current score. You’ll see each person’s rank, profile photo and display name, current score, and how far ahead or behind you are.

Past You ghost

The leaderboard has a “Past You” ghost row that compares your current performance to your personal best week. The ghost has distinct styling and sits in the leaderboard so you can see how you’re tracking against your own history, not just against other people. A nice way to stay motivated even when you’re ahead of the pack.

Real-time updates

Scores update automatically as participants’ fitness data syncs throughout the day. You don’t need to manually refresh, though pulling down on the screen triggers a manual refresh. Apple Watch users see updates within minutes. Other tracker users usually see updates within 15 to 30 minutes.

Competition events

The leaderboard tracks real-time competition events: ring closures, position overtakes, taunts, daily challenge completions. These add energy and keep things interesting throughout the day.

Privacy on the leaderboard

Your privacy settings control how much information competitors can see. You can choose whether to show your real name or display name, and whether competitors see your exact score or just your rank. Adjust these in Settings → Privacy.
