Halfway recap
Competitions that run 7 days or longer get a halfway recap. The morning after the halfway point, you get a notification such as “Halftime in ‘Step Showdown’. Your recap is ready.” Tap it to open the story. The halfway recap shows the standings at the halfway mark, how the race has gone so far, and the group goal if there is one. The notification is the only way to open it.Final recap
When the final results are in, you get a results notification. Tap it to open the final recap. You can also open it any time from the competition: tap More options (⋯), then View recap. The final recap can show, depending on the competition:- The podium with a headline about how it was decided.
- The race: how often the lead changed hands.
- Awards, one per person so more people get a moment: Champion, Most Consistent, Most Improved, Comeback, Weekend Warrior, Weekday Hustler, Single-Day Champ, and Iron Streak.
- Team awards in a team competition.
- The group’s biggest day and weekend versus weekday averages.
- The group goal, whether you hit it, and a suggested next goal.
- You: your place, points, best day, and how many days you were active.
- Rematch, on the last slide.
Share your recap
On the last slide, tap Share to share a recap card with your points, place, and activity. Public competitions, seasonal events, and past rounds of a repeating competition don’t have a rematch slide, so they don’t have this button.Rematch
The last slide of a final recap asks Run it back? Tap Rematch, same crew to set up the same competition again.
Anyone who played can tap it, and they become the rematch’s host. The normal hosting rules apply. For example, on the Free plan the rematch uses one of your 2 hosting spots. Only finished private competitions can be rematched.
On iPhone, a finished one-on-one challenge also has Rematch in the More options (⋯) menu.
Past rounds of a repeating competition
A repeating competition shows a row of round tabs, such as Cycle 1, Cycle 2, with each round’s dates. Tap a past round to see its final podium, leaderboard, and daily breakdown. To see that round’s recap, tap More options (⋯), then View recap. Your competition history also lists repeating competitions.Organizer report (hosts on Member or Pro)
The host of a finished competition can see who took part and how they did, for everyone who agreed to share.Share your results with the organizer
If you’re playing in someone else’s competition, a Share my results with the organizer switch on the competition screen controls what they can see. It’s off by default. When it’s on, the host can see your name as it shows on the leaderboard, your points and steps, and any awards you win, in their report and spreadsheet. Turn it off any time, and the next report leaves you out. Seasonal events don’t have this switch.Open the report
- Open a finished competition, or a finished round.
- Tap More options (⋯), then Organizer report.
Organizer email
After each finished round, a host on Member or Pro also gets an email: “Your report: [competition name]”. It’s sent only if at least one other person shared their results, and only if the host has competition notifications on.Export results as a spreadsheet
The host can download a CSV spreadsheet of results. Tap Export CSV inside the organizer report. On iPhone, any host can also tap Export results on the competition screen, whatever their plan.- It lists one row per person per round: name, username, round, round dates, status, and points.
- It includes you and everyone who turned on Share my results with the organizer. Nobody else is in it.
- Names follow the leaderboard’s privacy rules, so a hidden name stays blank.
- You can export up to 3 times an hour.
Something not right?
- No recap: the final recap is ready once results are final, usually the morning after the last day. See how competitions work.
- The organizer report is empty: nobody has turned on sharing yet.
- More help: competition issues.
