Seasonal events are limited-time activities with their own dates, goals, and badge requirements. They appear in Compete when available. Seasonal badges can be earned on any plan.

Join an event

  1. Open Compete and find the seasonal event.
  2. Tap it to read its dates, format, and requirements.
  3. Check that your tracker records the metric it needs.
  4. Use the event’s join action when enrollment is available.
  5. Return to the event details as your activity syncs to follow progress.
Do not assume that opening an event or joining it earns its badge. Read the qualification requirement before starting.

Understand the format

Example: being high on a competition leaderboard may not be enough for a badge if the event also requires activity on a minimum number of days. Conversely, a personal challenge can award its badge for reaching a target without beating another person.

Event badges

The event details explain the reward and qualification rule. Some competition events have placement variants for qualified finishers. Check the event’s own rule instead of applying the same ranking requirement to every event. After your qualifying activity syncs and the reward is processed, check your badges on Profile. The monthly challenge collectible is a separate feature; participation in a seasonal event is not automatically a monthly challenge completion.

Missing progress or reward

Confirm the event dates, enrollment, required metric, and qualification rule. Then check Data Sources and refresh the event. If you still appear to qualify without a reward, send Marco the event name and affected dates. Manage event alerts in Settings → Notifications. Turning off an alert does not replace checking the event deadline yourself.
