You can customize how MoveTogether looks and which units it uses for activity data.

Appearance: Light, Dark, or System

Go to Settings → Appearance. Pick one of three:
  • System — follows your phone’s light or dark appearance automatically; on Android public beta, it follows the Android device theme.
  • Light — always uses light appearance.
  • Dark — always uses dark appearance.
Your choice is saved across app launches.

Units of measurement

Go to Settings → Customization → Units. Pick one of two:
  • Metric — kilometers, kilograms, centimeters
  • Imperial — miles, pounds, feet and inches
This affects how distance, weight, and height are displayed throughout the app. Steps and minutes are unitless, so they do not change with this setting. The default matches your phone’s region settings. You can override it at any time.

Language

On Android public beta, the app language setting can open Android app locale settings where the device supports them.

Accessibility and display settings on iOS

Dynamic Type and Apple accessibility settings remain controlled in iPhone Settings:
  • Text size — iPhone Settings → Display & Brightness → Text Size
  • Reduce Motion — iPhone Settings → Accessibility → Motion
  • Reduce Transparency and Increase Contrast — iPhone accessibility settings that can affect MoveTogether visuals
See Apple’s accessibility settings for the full list.
