Quick fix checklist

  1. Pull down to refresh on any screen showing your fitness data.
  2. Force-close and reopen MoveTogether (swipe up from the bottom, find MoveTogether, swipe up to close, then reopen).
  3. Open your tracker’s companion app and make sure it has synced recently.
  4. Check your internet connection. Data sync needs an active connection.

Apple Watch not syncing

Check Apple Health permissions: open iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → MoveTogether, and make sure all relevant categories are enabled. Verify Apple Health has recent data by opening the Health app and checking Browse → Activity. Restart both your iPhone and Apple Watch, then reopen MoveTogether.

Third-party tracker not syncing

For Fitbit, Garmin, WHOOP, Oura, Strava, Polar, Suunto, and Ultrahuman:
  1. Open your tracker’s companion app and trigger a manual sync.
  2. Check your connection in MoveTogether: go to Settings → Connected Devices and make sure your tracker shows as connected.
  3. If it’s still not working, disconnect your tracker in Settings → Connected Devices, then reconnect by signing in again. This refreshes the authorization.
Third-party trackers sync through OpenWearables and can take up to 15 to 30 minutes for new data to appear. That’s normal and depends on how often your tracker’s companion app syncs with its own servers.

If nothing works

Make sure you’re on the latest version of MoveTogether from the App Store. Try deleting and reinstalling the app (your account data is stored on our servers and will come back when you sign in). If it’s still not working, chat with Mo at movetogetherfitness.com. Include your username, which tracker you’re using, your iPhone model and iOS version, when the issue started, and any error messages you’ve seen.
