Our community standards
MoveTogether is a supportive fitness community. We ask all users to follow our Community Guidelines:- Be respectful. Treat everyone with kindness. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination.
- Keep it appropriate. All content has to be suitable for all ages.
- Play fair. No cheating or manipulating fitness data.
- Prioritize health. Don’t promote dangerous fitness practices.
- Respect privacy. Don’t share others’ personal information without consent.
- No spam. No advertising, phishing, or solicitation.
How AI moderation works
AI monitors all user-generated content in the app in real time, including competition group chat messages, direct messages (image moderation), profile photos, and usernames. The AI flags content that includes harassment, hate speech, bullying, explicit or sexual content, threats, spam, or any other violations of our Community Guidelines. Photos that violate guidelines are removed automatically.Enforcement actions
We use a combination of automated (AI) systems and human review. Consequences escalate with the severity and history of the violation:- Content removal. The specific content is removed, usually before anyone else sees it.
- Warning. A first violation generally results in a warning logged to your account.
- Temporary suspension. Continued violations restrict access for a period, and competition scores are frozen.
- Permanent ban. Repeated or severe violations result in a permanent, non-reversible ban.
Seeing your account standing
When we take action on your account, we tell you what happened and why. Open Settings → Account Status in the app to see your current standing (good standing, warning, suspension, or ban), the specific reason for any action, and to start a review request at any time.Appealing a decision
If you think a moderation action was taken in error, you can ask us to review it:- In the app: go to Settings → Account Status and tap Request a review.
- With Mo: chat with Mo at movetogetherfitness.com, tell Mo it’s a moderation appeal, and explain why you think the decision was incorrect.
