Check your message quota

Mo has a monthly limit per plan — see Message quota. If you’ve hit it, Mo will show a notice but won’t reply to new messages until the next monthly reset.

Check your internet connection

Mo’s replies are generated in the cloud, so an offline phone means no reply. The Coach tab will show a connection error if it can’t reach our servers.

Force-quit and reopen

Sometimes the iOS connection to the chat backend gets stuck. Swipe up to the app switcher, swipe MoveTogether away, and reopen. Your conversation history is preserved.

Voice on Apple Watch isn’t working

  • Make sure you’re on a supported watch (Series 6+, watchOS 10+).
  • Make sure the watch app has microphone permission: iPhone → Watch app → MoveTogether → Privacy.
  • Make sure your watch has either cellular or Wi-Fi — voice doesn’t work offline.

Mo gave a weird or wrong answer

Mo is an AI, not an oracle. He occasionally hallucinates or misremembers context. If you got bad advice, tell him directly (“that’s wrong because…”) — he can correct himself in the same conversation. For something that needs a human, tap Support in the Coach tab.
