Every competition uses the same simple scoring system.

How points are earned

You earn 1 point each day for closing each of your three rings:
RingPoint earned when…
MoveDaily active calories goal met
ExerciseDaily exercise minutes goal met
StepsDaily step goal met
That’s up to 3 points per day, every day of the competition.

Your total

Your competition total is just the sum of your daily points across the date window. A weekend competition (3 days) has a max of 9 points. A weekly is 21. A monthly is ~90, depending on the month.

Ties

If two participants finish with the same point total, the leaderboard breaks the tie by total active calories across the window.

Why this system?

Points reward consistency, not raw output. A person who closes all three rings every day will beat a person who has one massive workout day and then nothing — which keeps competitions fair across fitness levels and trackers.
