# Send support a screenshot

> Attach a screenshot or photo in the support chat, use Show Marco when Marco asks to see your screen, and what happens to the pictures you send.

A screenshot often explains a problem faster than words. You can send one in the [support chat](https://docs.movetogetherfitness.com/troubleshooting/contact-support.md) on iPhone, Android, or the website. This works on every plan.

## Attach a screenshot or photo

**iPhone**

1. Take a screenshot of the screen with the problem.
2. Open the support chat.
3. Tap the **+** next to the message box.
4. Choose **Screenshots**, **Photo library**, or **Take photo**.
5. Pick the picture, then send it.

**Android**

1. Take a screenshot of the screen with the problem.
2. Open the support chat.
3. Tap the **+** next to the message box.
4. Choose **Photo library**.
5. Pick the picture, then send it.

Tap any screenshot in the chat to see it full screen.

### What you can send

* Pictures only: PNG, JPEG, HEIC, or WebP.
* Up to 30 MB per picture. The app shrinks it before sending.
* If you see **That image couldn't be sent**, try a different screenshot or photo.

## Show Marco your screen

Sometimes Marco asks to see the screen you're stuck on. He posts a card that says **Show Marco your screen?**

1. Tap **Show me**. Or tap **Not now** to skip it.
2. The chat closes and a bar says **Go to the screen with the problem, then tap Show Marco.**
3. Go to that screen in MoveTogether.
4. Tap **Show Marco**. The screen flashes and your phone buzzes as the picture is taken.
5. The chat comes back with **Here's my screen.** and the picture you sent.

Marco sees one picture of that one screen. It never includes other apps, your keyboard, or notifications, and chat screens are hidden. If the request has expired, you see **This request has ended. Ask Marco again in the chat.**

## What happens to your pictures

| What you sent | What we keep |
| - | - |
| A screenshot or photo you attached | It stays in your support conversation so the team can see it. Our AI can read it and write a short description, with names, emails, and phone numbers masked. |
| A Show Marco picture | We don't store the picture. Our AI turns it into a short description, and only that description is kept. Your phone keeps its own copy so you can see it in the chat. That copy is never backed up, and it's deleted after 30 days or when you sign out. |

Any picture can show health and fitness numbers that are on screen. Don't send pictures of passwords, payment cards, or anything you'd rather keep private. See the [Privacy Policy](https://movetogetherfitness.com/privacy) for details.

## Something not right?

* **The + menu only shows Share screen.** Sending pictures is paused on your account. This happens for 30 days after screenshots in two or more messages contain text that tries to give our AI instructions. You can still type your question, and support can [share your screen](https://docs.movetogetherfitness.com/troubleshooting/screen-share.md) with you. If you think it's a mistake, say so in the chat.
* **"Couldn't take the picture. Try again." or "Couldn't send your screen. Try again."** Tap **Show Marco** again. Check your connection if it keeps failing.
* **You'd rather show support live.** See [share your screen with support](https://docs.movetogetherfitness.com/troubleshooting/screen-share.md).
