# Managing your Coach Mo conversations

> How to find, rename, delete, and search past Coach Mo conversations, and how chat transcripts differ from Mo's long-term memory stored in Files.

Every conversation with Coach Mo is saved automatically. You can browse them, rename them, delete them, or search across all of them.

## Opening the conversations drawer

In the **Coach** tab, swipe from the left edge or tap the menu icon to open the conversations drawer. You'll see your past conversations listed with their title and how long ago they happened.

## Starting a new conversation

Tap **New chat** at the top of the drawer. Your current conversation is saved automatically before the new one starts.

## Renaming a conversation

Coach Mo gives every chat a default title based on what you talked about. To change it:

1. Open the conversations drawer.
2. Tap and hold a conversation, or use the **⋯** menu next to it.
3. Tap **Rename**.
4. Enter a new title and confirm.

A good rename helps when you want to find a specific past conversation later (e.g., "Marathon training plan" instead of the auto-title).

## Deleting a conversation

1. Open the conversations drawer.
2. Tap the **⋯** menu next to the conversation.
3. Tap **Delete** and confirm.

<Note>
  Deleting a conversation removes it permanently. Your Coach Mo memory (Files) isn't affected. Anything Mo learned about you from that conversation stays in Files unless you remove it from there too.
</Note>

## Searching

Tap the search field at the top of the drawer to find any past message. Search looks across all your conversation history, not just titles.

## What about Coach Mo's memory?

Conversations and **Files** (Coach Mo's long-term memory) are separate. Conversations are the transcripts of what you said back and forth. Files is what Mo remembers about you between conversations.

Deleting a conversation does **not** delete the memories Mo formed during it. Manage those in **Coach Mo settings → Files**.
