## How achievements work

MoveTogether rewards your progress with achievements. As you stay active, compete with friends, and build consistency, you unlock medals that show off your fitness journey. Achievements are earned automatically. You don't need to claim them. When you unlock one, you'll see a celebration animation with confetti and get a notification.

## Medal tiers

Each achievement has four medal tiers:

| Tier | Description |
| -------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Bronze | Getting started. Achievable early in your journey. |
| Silver | Building momentum. Real commitment shown. |
| Gold | Serious dedication. Sustained effort required. |
| Platinum | Elite status. The rarest medals, for the most dedicated users. |

## Achievement categories

**Competition.** Win competitions, build winning streaks, come from behind for underdog victories, win by razor-thin margins in photo finishes, compete against many different opponents, and build rivalries by beating the same person repeatedly.

**Consistency.** Build daily activity streaks at 7, 30, 100, and 365 consecutive days of ring activity.

**Milestone.** Hit cumulative thresholds for calories burned, steps taken, and exercise minutes logged throughout your MoveTogether journey.

**Social.** Build your network by competing against unique opponents and developing rivalries through head-to-head competition records.
