# Connect your tracker to Apple Health

> On iPhone, MoveTogether reads Apple Health. Turn on Apple Health sharing for Oura, WHOOP, Garmin, Strava, Polar, Ultrahuman, or Google Health / Fitbit, then confirm it's reading.

On iPhone, MoveTogether reads your steps, calories, and workouts from **Apple Health**. If your device isn't listed when MoveTogether asks **Which one's your tracker?**, your wearable probably isn't sending its data to Apple Health yet.

Turn sharing on in the wearable's own app using the steps below, then reopen the tracker picker and choose it. On Android, see [Connect your tracker to Health Connect](/health-connect/connect-your-tracker).

## Apple Watch and iPhone

Nothing to set up. Apple Watch and iPhone write to Apple Health on their own. Just allow MoveTogether to read Apple Health when it asks.

## Turn on Apple Health sharing, by device

### Oura

1. Open the Oura app.
2. Tap the menu (three lines) in the top left, then **Settings**.
3. Scroll to **Data Sharing** and tap **Apple Health**.
4. Make sure **Connect to Health** is on.

### WHOOP

1. Open the WHOOP app.
2. Go to **More → App Settings → Integrations → Apple Health**.
3. Turn on all categories. Make sure **Steps** is on (it's off by default).
4. Tap **Allow**.

### Garmin

1. Open the Garmin Connect app.
2. Tap **More → Settings → Connected Apps → Apple Health**.
3. Turn on the health categories, then tap **Allow**.

### Strava

1. Open the Strava app.
2. Go to the **You** tab, then **Settings → Manage Apps & Devices → Health**.
3. Tap **Connect**, then turn on **Send to Health**.

Strava shares workouts, not all-day steps.

### Polar

1. Open the Polar Flow app.
2. Go to **More → General settings → Apple Health**.
3. Turn all categories on, then tap **Allow**.

### Ultrahuman

1. Open the Ultrahuman app.
2. Tap your profile, then **Apple Health**.
3. Turn on all categories, then tap **Allow**.

### Google Health / Fitbit

1. Open the Google Health app (formerly Fitbit).
2. Tap **Connections**, then **Apps and services**.
3. Tap **Apple Health**, turn on all categories, then tap **Allow**.

## Confirm it's reading

1. Open the Apple **Health** app.
2. Tap **Browse**, choose a metric (for example **Steps**), and scroll to **Data Sources & Access**.
3. Check that your wearable is listed as a source.
4. In MoveTogether, reopen the tracker picker. Your device should now be there.

<Note>
Not every wearable writes every metric to Apple Health. A device can share workouts but not steps, so it may show up for one metric and not another.
</Note>

## Still not showing up?

If your data is in Apple Health but MoveTogether still doesn't list your device, [contact support](/troubleshooting/contact-support) and tell us which wearable you use.
